This year we were thrilled to be able to add a Boudoir category to the Photo Contest. We've also teamed up with some awesome new community partners who focus not only on incredible photography communities, but Boudoir photography too!

Embrace Presets are the mastermind of Boudoir photographer Jasmin Jade. Jasmin is from Germany but is currently living in the Washington D.C. area and has been living in the US since 2013! She's a self taught photographer who got her start in family & women's glamour portraits before discovering how much she enjoys Boudoir photography.

Her love of editing led her to launch the first Embrace Collection for her Boudoir photographer friends in 2017. Since then, a full line of presets & education courses have been developed and the Embrace community was born. The Embrace Community now has over 25,000 members. It's a community full of amazing photographers of all genres. They're all inclusive, love boudoir as much as they love families, and everyone is welcome!

Here's what else Jasmin & Embrace have been up to!

What are you working on right now?

I just launched the Fun Packs, a way to get your creative juices flowing in an inexpensive way. It's a way to try out different editing styles. You never know what you want until you try it!

What do you hope that photographers learn/take away from being part of your community?

I hope that photographers feel welcome and  feel that they are part of a community that cares. I hope that the Embrace Community inspires them to seek their true artistic voice.

What is your biggest piece of advice for a photographer that is just starting out?

Don't look around you. Listen to your inner voice because it tells you what direction to take. Whether it's editing or shooting, your inner voice knows what you want. Don't get distracted by what other people tell you is the right way for you. When I first started, I listened to other people telling me how I should edit, how to shoot and what to do. It took me a while to figure out that the only voice to listen to is my own.
