When we asked to see your inspiring spaces, Pam Teh's space was a crowd favorite! From beautiful light & impeccable details... to a paint color that knocks it out of the park, Pam's office is a space that inspires both creativity and productivity! Join us as we go behind the scenes for all the inside details.

Pam Teh is the owner of Seattle, Washington based 83 Lux Photography. She's a family and newborn photographer and the momma of two little girls. Pam says she strives to capture the personality, the quirky smiles, and all the little details of childhood and the families that she works with.

When it comes to her space, Pam says she wanted a space that reflected her art.

"I created this office space with mostly creativity in mind. The captures on my display wall all move me in some way, the accessories/textures/colors in the room mirror the contrast of colors and patterns that I strive for in my own work, while the window hangings were specifically chosen to let light through in just the right amounts so I can document our home life in this room. Fun fact, this room’s former glory was a messy kids playroom; so this truly is a complete 180! While it is a space now completely dedicated for me and my work, it still contains small spaces for the kids to hang out in if they feel they need to be close while I’m editing."

As a mom that often works from home, Pam says it's the little things that make getting all those images edited a little bit easier. And she's got a fool proof tool to let everyone know she's serious about getting work done. 😉

"The door. Once it is closed everyone knows - DO NOT DISTURB! Lol."

Inspired to create a space like this of your own? Here's all the fun details!!

  • Paint: Sherwin-Williams Dutch Tile Blue
  • Desk: Old Ikea dining table that was refinished. Legs were painted white, and the top was stained using a Jacobean stain.
  • Curtains: Double layers to filter light & completely reduce monitor glare while editing. Overstock
  • Blanket: Spider Rock Throw pattern by Pendelton
